"...йо-хо-хо и бутылка рома!" - оказывается, в "оригинальном" - хоть и написанном, судя по всему уже после романа Стивенсона стихотворении Янга Эллисона, рассказывается полная трагизма история. К слову сказать, оказывается, "йо-хо-хо" - это не демонический хохот подвыпивших пиратов, а хоровой возглас при выполнении каких-то требующих координированых усилий действий: что-то типа нашего "раз-два-взяли!"... А вот так она звучит в одной из версий - мне чот жутко нравится... вот бы ее на мобильник в качестве рингтона... *мечтательно жмурится* История и популярный миф (правильней сказать - мистификация?) связанный с этой песней - вот тут . Вообще очень симпатичный и любопытный сайт. Прям настальгия захватила по тем временам, когда я взахлеб читала романы Сабатини и большую, подробную, честную "Энциклопедию пиратства" - жаль, что мне ее дали ненадолго и больше она мне не попадалась... Еще на ту же тему: двухдисковый сборник старинных пиратских песен - слова народные, музыка большей частью поздняя, исполняют кто придется.в основном знаменитости всякие по одной песенке  ps в качестве бонуса: тут и тут две версии песни про "йо-хо-хо и бутылку рома" - вышевыложенная и другая |
