Вот смотрю в "A Practical English Grammar", A.J.Thomson, A.V.Martinet, Oxford University Press,2001 и удивляюсь, почему они нигде в конструкциях типа:
If there is a shortage of any product prices of that product go up.
не ставят запятой ???

Заглянул в "Advanced Grammar in Use":
If anyone phones, tell them I'll be back at 11.00.
Запятая на месте.

Кому верить... Как жить дальше...
